"On behalf of the class of 2024, I would like to thank you for your donation to the Camp Bournedale Scholarship Fund. Your support has repeatedly played a key role to ease the financial burden for our families in need. You undoubtedly recognize the value of a well-rounded education, and how our future depends on the preparation our children receive throughout their years in school. This year because of your generous donation all students who requested financial aid will be able to attend Camp Bournedale. There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your loyalty. The Class of 2024 and the Carver Middle High School community are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like you who answer the call again and again. We hope to continue this relationship for many years. Once again thank you for your assistance and support of our program."

"It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I contact you. The cost of a college education is an overwhelming financial endeavor. Your scholarship will lessen the burden for me and my family. I am attending Elon University in the fall with the intended major of biology eventually leading down a pre-med track. I was blessed to receive several academic awards this week, but the Dorine Merritt Scholarship feels the most special. Myself and my family have so much respect and admiration for the Merritt’s which makes me feel even more honored to receive this. I hope I will do the Dorine Merritt Scholarship committee proud."
